Open a Schwab Hong Kong account to start trading U.S. stocks, bonds, offshore mutual funds and more. Simply select the type of account you would like to open below and follow the steps.
IMPORTANT: Sign and date all completed forms, including W-8BEN. Forms cannot be processed without both signature and date.
Additional Forms may be required depending on your individual circumstances.

Prepare Required Supporting Documents
Submit copies of supporting documents along with your account application forms. Please follow the required documentation checklist in the account application form when preparing your account application. Fund Your Account
A minimum of US$10,000 is required to open a Schwab Hong Kong Individual/Joint Account; a minimum of US$100,000 is required for a Schwab Hong Kong Corporate Account. Accounts can be funded by one of following methods:
Your personal cheque - payable to "Charles Schwab &
Co., Inc. FBO" (your Schwab 8-digit account number). Third-party cheques not accepted.
