1. Restrictions apply: The standard online $4.95 commission does not apply to foreign stock transactions, large block transactions requiring special handling, or restricted stock transactions. Foreign ordinary shares that trade online in the U.S. over-the-counter (OTC) market and do not settle in the U.S. will have a $50 foreign transaction fee added to the cost of the transaction. See the Charles Schwab Hong Kong Pricing Guide for details. Employee equity compensation transactions are subject to separate commission schedules.

2. Select products such as preferred ($1,000 par), corporate convertible bonds, corporate subordinated bonds, and corporate perpetual bonds are not available for purchase for clients of Charles Schwab, Hong Kong, Ltd. Please contact Schwab’s fixed income specialists for product availability and other details.

+ Schwab reserves the right to act as principal on any fixed income transaction, public offering or securities transaction. When Schwab acts as principal, the bond price includes our transaction fee (outlined above) and may also include a markup that reflects the bid-ask spread and is not subject to a minimum or maximum. When trading as principal, Schwab may also be holding the security in its own account prior to selling it to you and, therefore, may make (or lose) money depending on whether the price of the security has risen or fallen while Schwab has held it.

Note: Large block transactions (orders of more than 250 bonds) may be available for special handling and/or pricing — please call us for information.

* If you are not completely satisfied for any reason, at your request Charles Schwab, Hong Kong, Ltd. (“Schwab”) will refund any eligible fee related to your concern within the required time frames. Schwab reserves the right to change or terminate the guarantee at any time. Go to schwab.com.hk/satisfaction to learn what’s included and how it works.
